You will not be able to purchase the correct Digital decoder boxes from the normal French outlets but only from importers such as ourselves. The box MUST say “Sky Digi Box” to be able to receive the full Sky, BBC, ITV, Free to Air & Radio signal from the UK.

Our Associate company in the UK will be pleased to assist in arranging a Sky contract or TV card for your box, so no hassle no problems!  No telephone connection required. Please note that all boxes will give the Free To Air channels with no card required.

Please note, if you already have a dish supplying French satellite TV, and wish to retain this, you will require a separate dish for the English language system as they are on different satellites at different locations.

It is not against the law to receive the signal in France, however if Sky are made aware that the card is in France or Spain, they are contract bound to terminate the service or not supply. The problem is mainly copy right with regard to films etc. The box will operate on a wide range of channels, including radio, without any card. ALL our boxes will receive all the available channels not just a few, like some cheap boxes.

There is a variety of “Free to Air” programmes which include 8 BBC TV channels,  lots of news & free channels and of course the radio, including all BBC radio stations, Classic FM and lots more.   In order to receive these channels all you require is the standard digi box and dish.  This will give you the facility to purchase a Sky contract package at a later date should you wish to do so. Not to be confused with "freeview" which is only available in the UK, as this works from the standard TV aerial, not a dish.

Some suppliers will say they have to install a very large dish for the system to work, in most cases this is not so.  A 65 cm is standard but in a few areas of the South an 85 cm may be required. We will supply or install the correct dish for your area.  

If you wish to receive both Local (French) and English TV please note, only a few TV sets will work on both systems.  We would strongly recommend you purchase a Sony, Phillips, Panasonic or Grundig, they will work on both!  The UK system is Pal i, not the Pal BG, which is installed to some (cheaper) local sets.
